Celebrating Easter the Anglo-Saxon Way at CRA de Oroso

Easter is one of the most important and joyful celebrations in many English-speaking countries such as United Kingdomand Ireland. It marks the arrival of spring and is full of traditions that bring families and communities together.

In these countries, children take part in exciting activities like Easter egg hunts, where they search for hidden chocolate eggs in gardens and parks. The Easter Bunny is a beloved symbol, bringing sweets and surprises to children. Families also decorate eggs, share special meals, and enjoy festive parades and games.

At CRA de Oroso, we wanted to bring this wonderful tradition closer to our students. Our pupils explored the meaning and customs of Easter in English-speaking cultures, connecting language learning with real-life celebrations.

As part of the activity, the children created beautiful and creative Easter-themed bookmarks. These bookmarks will be used to enjoy reading books related to this special time of the year, encouraging both imagination and a love for reading.

It has been a fun, meaningful, and creative experience that combines culture, language, and literacy. Through activities like this, our students not only learn English, but also discover the richness of traditions around the world.

Happy Easter to everyone!
